FEEDBACK FROM PARENTS:
„You are to me a phenomenon,
communication with children and parents, education (learning) standard“
„This is probably a special strength of the nursery,
because we as parents it is important that the next child would not only be educated,
creative, but also in their work environment meet people.“
„Here he meets children of different nationalities, here he develops not only
foreign language, but ethnictolerance, here is revealed,
who is gifted, and which direction do not have to “press“.
„For kindergarten mention food.
Our “without food” child nursery food,
appears, eat :)“…
By combining work principles of Italian „Reggio Emilia“, German nursery schools, elements of the Swedish education programme „Tree of Knowledge“, the Theory of Multiple Intelligences by Howard Gardner as well as the ideas of our own team, we created a kindergarten where children grow up without stress and at their own pace and in accordance with their capabilities. A kindergarten where they “unlock“ their strengths and talents. A kindergarten where they develop independence, in an inspiring environment and surrounded by nature – another great space for plays and discoveries.
We emphasize the importance of a holistic approach in education: holistic means to address as many ways and talents as possible and not view the body (feeling) and intellect (understanding) as contrary to it.
Holistic means to us seeing ourselves and the children as an integral part of the world that we should feel with all our senses and approach with common sense, so as to take on responsibility for our actions in it. The kindergarten is therefore a place for learning “with head, heart and hands” (Pestalozzi), in constant interaction with the environment.
In our kindergarten:
Children learn foreign languages (English or German) in a natural way, i. e., through immersion. Furthermore, children in the last year of kindergarten (pre-primary group) learn some of their subjects in English MORE
German is learned from the earliest age (our kindergarten is the only educational institution of such kind in Vilnius) MORE
Children’s education is based on Howard Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligences MORE
One topic combines several subjects or activities (integration of educational content with different topics) MORE
Children are involved in long-term topic-based projects MORE
Following the work principles of forest nurseries (Waldkindergärten), a lot of activities are organised outside (trips to the forest, tent camps, vegetable garden, etc.) MORE
Our educational process works according to 12 principles of successful education MORE
The pre-primary education curriculum (for children who are in the last year of kindergarten) is enriched with additional courses (included in the tuition fee): music, aikido, carpentry, theatre, chess, robotics, art and ceramics MORE
We offer even more additional courses and activities for children to reveal their talents MORE
In our nursery, the same educational principles apply as in our kindergarten:
The day in the nursery starts at 7:30 A.M. and ends at 6:30 P.M. „Morning circle“, „Growth time“, and other rituals are part of the child’s daily rhythm.
The nursery curriculum is enriched with additional activities (included in the tuition fee): music, art, physical training, ballet, ceramics.
