EARLY FOREIGN LANGUAGE LEARNING

Foreign languages are the key that opens doors to Europe and the world

Multilingualism is a fundamental prerequisite for the development of an open-mind and maintaining peace. The ability to communicate effectively in two or more European languages is necessary for attaining higher qualifications. This was confirmed by the European Council that took place in the spring of 2002 in Barcelona. Every child in the EU should be provided with an opportunity to master his/her native language and learn two more foreign languages at an early age. Most adults have learned from experience that regular foreign language classes at school are not enough to communicate fluently in a foreign language later on.
